Avery Mello is a Paralegal at KO Legal, where she supports the firm through client communication, file preparation, intake, scheduling coordination, and general administrative support that contributes to the smooth operation of ongoing matters. Avery completed her Paralegal Certification coursework at California State University, Long Beach, where she gained foundational exposure to legal writing, civil procedure, and research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, for which she holds certifications.

Avery graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in International Business. Prior to joining KO Legal, she gained extensive experience in operations, client management, and organizational coordination through roles in the wholesale and retail industries, giving her particular insight regarding internal employment matters. Avery also worked for a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting social impact partners, rehabilitation centers, and community-based programs, which strengthened her commitment to advocacy and uplifting those in need.

Avery is currently preparing to take the LSAT with plans to attend law school in the coming years. She has a particular interest in employment law and immigration law, inspired by her dedication to helping individuals navigate challenges and ensuring they feel heard and supported. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association and continues to expand her legal knowledge through ongoing study and professional development.
